Owen Wilson in an action film? I didn’t see that coming. His character is responsible for transporting an organ for transplant, and runner/courier Alan Ritchson protects him in the face of an unexpected gang attempting to seize the precious cargo. A basic story premise

I found the start slow setting up the story, and I am not sure we needed all the full background of Ritchson’s character. Once he meets up with Wilson, the story and action properly start. Wilson’s character is intended to be of good nature and possibly slightly annoying for light comedic value. There is humour, but not laugh-out-loud, mixed with action. Most of the film is paced quite well, and the setting in Australia makes for an interesting change from the usual US-based films. The end is pretty good with one unexpected event and a good car chase sequence, which helps lift the film to slightly just above average for an action film. It is watchable, but better suited to a cosy night in front of the TV streaming than cinema-price watching.

I hadn’t heard of Alan Ritchson, who does a good job leading the film. When looking at his filmography to date, he has appeared in films like Fast X. Overall, it is enjoyable enough. There is nothing new or groundbreaking, though it is directed well by Scott Waugh, and the film appears to have a decent enough budget to bring it to the big screen with fast action and stunts.
